Oval Duct |
- Oval duct and fittings to be constructed from new, prime galvanized steel in accordance with the latest ASTM standards.
- Minimum wall thickness for duct and fittings to conform to Table 3-4 as shown in the latest edition of SMACNA's HVAC DUCT CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS.
- Spiral oval fabricated with corrugation profile.
- Joints and seams shall be similar to those indicated for round duct.
- Reinforcement for flat sides of oval duct shall be provided to limit wall deflection.
